Press Release Body: NEW YORK, Dec. 13, 2007 -- eMusic the digital entertainment
retailer of music and audiobooks, and the Caravan Project, an innovative partnership
of non-profit publishers, booksellers and libraries, today announced that eMusic
will become the first digital audio retailer of Caravan Books. Approximately 60
Caravan titles from distinguished non-fiction publishers including Yale University
Press, Harvard University Press and The University of North Carolina Press will be
available on eMusic in the US and EU within the next few months. eMusic is the only
digital retailer to offer all of its audiobooks in MP3, the world's most popular
digital format.

"One of Caravan's primary goals is to provide readers access to every book from our
publishers in every format, instantly," said Peter Osnos, Caravan Project Executive
Director. "As our first digital retailer, eMusic is a strong addition to the
expanding Caravan network of booksellers of all types, and by providing Caravan
books in the MP3 format, we make it easy for readers to enjoy our books on any
digital audio device they own."

"eMusic targets a sophisticated, intellectually curious customer, and Caravan's
serious non-fiction is a great fit for our subscribers," said David Pakman, eMusic
President and CEO. "eMusic excels at exposing 'long tail' music and book titles, and
we're looking forward to working with Caravan and its publishers to increase sales
for these worthy books."

eMusic sold 25,000 audiobooks within the first 50 days of its audiobooks launch on
September 18, becoming the world's first digital retailer to offer audiobooks in the
universally compatible MP3 format and bringing the company's award-winning
combination of universal compatibility, great value, and expert editorial to a
market that is poised for growth. The website now offers more than 1500 audiobooks
from major audiobook publishers including Blackstone Audio, Hachette, Naxos
Audiobooks and Random House. eMusic presents audiobooks with a sophisticated voice,
including regular reviews by critics from the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and
Chicago Sun-Times among others. Audiobooks subscriptions are priced at $9.99 for one
book or $19.99 for two books, plus one book free as part of an introductory offer.
